PLEASE help?? allergic reaction?

ok so idk if it is actually an allergic reaction but last week some time before I went to the pool I put sunscreen on my face (the kind that I always use which is bananna boat kids sunblock spf 30, the kind in the spray form,) and I was fine. Then after I got out of the pool I could feel my face getting slightly burnt so I put the SAME EXACT SUNBLOCK on my face the same exact way I always do but then 5 minutes later my face was burning and tingling and it hurt so bad. I ran to the bathroom and my face wasn't red at all, but it was absolutely burning it hurt really bad. so I jumped in the pool and that still didn't help. So then a lifeguard gave me a bag of ice and it went away. So then I bought a sunscreen for sensitive skin (it's by neutrogena and it says on the bottle it's safe for the face... spf 55) and today, again, i sprayed it on my face before the beach and i was fine, then about 2 hours later i sprayed it again after i went in the water and it was burning again! i had to get ice again and then just went home because i was getting sick of the beach anyways... why does this keep happening!?!
